Marantz Rolls Out New Slim Network AV Receiver, the NR1607
Advanced audio technology maker Marantz kicked off its new 2016 home theater lineup with a brand new ultra slim network AV receiver that it introduced this week. The NR1607 is a 7.2 channel unit that has built-in Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The model continues in the tradition of the company’s successful Slim Design Receiver line.
Among the list of features that Marantz highlighted in the new receiver is its surround sound capabilities. “The NR1607 comes with Dolby Atmos immersive surround decoding to deliver breathtaking surround sound from today's advanced movie soundtracks,” they said in a statement. “Slim enough to slip into any TV cabinet, it produces the same revolutionary Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound found in the best theaters. Just like the theaters, it creates an overhead surround soundfield to give listeners a dramatic expansion of the sonic space.”
