Getting the Goods on Buying Groups
It’s an evolutionary process. What is the next level? There are several different things we’re looking at over the next six months, and have not decided the next step, so it’s premature to talk about. But any future steps would be to further achieve additional status and recognition in the vendor community, so they review NECO as one of a kind.
Dealerscope: Are you seeing increased competition in the CE/appliance marketplace from new kinds of retailers such as a Target or a Home Depot?
BELLOWS: They’re not necessarily new retailers that are challenging us. The large stores have been viable competitors for four or five years. They continue to get stronger and will continue to. They without a doubt are very formidable competitors.
