Massachusetts Liquor Store Uses Denon Player
A renowned liquor store in Northeastern Massachusetts has found a unique way to let its customers know about its latest products and sales- by using Denon’s new professional audio/video player as a means of digital signage.
Wyman’s Liquors, headquartered in Leominster, Mass. (about an hour outside Boston) began using the Denon Professional DN-V755 Digital Audio/Video Player as part of a major renovation, which allows customers to navigate the store’s inventory. Wyman’s got the product from Marchetti Engineering, the Boston-based company that developed the technology, and has been using it to help drive up sales.
The product, the companies said in an announcement of the venture, features a 40GB internal hard drive, a remote control and the ability to play several hours of DVD-quality video. For more on the Denon product, visit www.d-mpro.com; for information about Marchetti, see www.marchettieng.com
