KnowledgeFest Adds Space, Keynotes, Cheerleaders
The Mobile Enhancement Retailers Association (MERA) Monday made several announcements in regards to KnowledgeFest 2010, which is set to take place Oct. 10-12 at the Gaylord Texan Hotel and Conference Center outside Dallas. The event has added several new participants, including Audio Control, JBL and Parrot and as a result has expanded its booth space from 11,700 square feet to 13,500.
KnowledgeFest also will feature an expansive lineup of educational sessions, including separate tracks for the sales, installation and business tracks. The group also named its full lineup of keynoters for the event. Daniel Abramson, a sales guru, will open the show Sunday; Jessica Steel of Pandora will speak Monday and DICE electronics executive vice president Stephen Witt will speak Tuesday.
And finally, MERA said that two members of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will join attendees at the Monday Night Football Tailgate Party on Oct. 11. The event, featuring cheerleaders Kaitlin Ilseng and Olivia Stevanoski, will be held at the Glass Cactus nightclub, as the Minnesota Vikings take on the New York Jets.
