MERA Proposes KnowledgeFest Topics
The Mobile Enhancement Retailers Association (MERA) on Monday released the list of planned topics for its upcoming KnowledgeFest. The event will be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, from March 15-18.
MERA is holding four separate groups of workshops, for business owners, sales and marketing, installers and manufacturers/representatives. The group released the names of about 30 topics it hopes to hold workshops on, and has issued a call for interested parties to “consider their areas of expertise and offer to share their knowledge.”
Business owner workshops include “How to Get Rid of Dead Product in Your Store,” “ Introducing a New Product Line,” and “Expanding into Home Audio/Video.” Sales and marketing ideas include “Marketing to the Generations,” “Sales Forecasting” and “Working With a Limited Budget.” For installation, MERA is requesting “Foundation of Installation,” “Increasing Profitability of Custom Integration” and others; and for manufacturers’ reps, possible topics include “Gaining New Accounts” and “Relationships With Manufacturers.”
