Microsoft Retail Eyeing Apple Store Employees
Microsoft, in launching its new retail stores, has already revealed plans to go head to head with Apple's similar stores, even opening in locations near the Apple Stores. Now, the software giant is taking things a step further- they're actively seeking to lure employees of Apple's retail outlets.
According to the Web site The Loop, Microsoft has begun offering "significant raises," and even moving expenses, to managers of Apple stores in order to jump to the upstart rival. Some managers have jumped at the offer, and in turn have attempted to subsequently lure other ex-employees.
The first two Microsoft stores are set to open on the West Coast this fall.
