Microsoft Makes Xbox 360 Cut Official
Confirming rumors that surfaced last month, Microsoft will drop the price of the Xbox 360 by $50- and will also introduce a new, larger-capacity model.
According to the Associated Press, the console’s price will drop to $299, from $350, effective immediately.
The company will also add a 60GB version of the console in August, at a cost of $350; the present version sports a 20GB hard drive. Microsoft, according to the AP, may soon announce a partnership with Netflix to make movies available on the new 360.
