Microsoft Plans Massive Retail Expansion
Microsoft, which has slowly rolled out its first retail stores in the past three years, will open 75 new stores within the next three years, the company's chief operating officer said Wednesday.
According to CNET Kevin Turner, speaking at Microsoft's 2011 Worldwide Partner Conference, confirmed the ambitious rollout. He added that the stores in operation thus far have given the company lots of insight into what customers want.
Many of the stores will be located in the Northeastern U.S., California and Florida.
