Microsoft this week confirmed long-held rumors that is working on an HD version of the Zune device. In an interview with CNET, the company confirmed that the device, which will feature a touchscreen interface and compete with Apple's iPod Touch, will arrive in stores this fall.
The touchscreen will be OLED and run a version of Internet Explorer, while also boasting an HD Radio tuner. It will also make video viewable on customer's TVs, through a special dock.
No pricing information has been announced.
