Miele’s Connected MasterCool Line, at the AD Design Show
Miele showcased its latest offerings in refrigeration technology at the Architectural Digest Design Show in New York City last week.
Among the highlights were a redesigned MasterCool refrigeration line, which featured a bevy of new appointments among the 35 SKUs. Notable additions are 24-inch refrigerator and freezer towers and 36-inch French Door models, and an assortment of wine storage units.
The line now caters to consumer demand for mobile-enabled appliances, with the addition of Miele’s WifiConn@ct, which allows users to control temperatures, switch on programs, receive alerts and order accessories through the Miele@Mobile app on Android and iOS devices.
The refrigerators’ interiors feature a glare-free metallic finish and BrilliantLight technology, which illuminates the entire interior. A MasterSensor color touch display eases program selection.
Via Miele’s Door Assist program, consumers can select handle-free versions of the appliances, with the new Push2Open feature. Which opens the door with just a slight bit of applied pressure.
The MasterCool line is being made available in Summer, with prices starting at $6,299.
