Mitsubishi Launches 3D Campaign
Mitsubishi Tuesday announced the launch of a new campaign aimed at letting customers know that they already may own a 3D-ready TV without realizing it. The company said it has been selling 3D-capable TVs since 2007, before any 3D programming was even available.
Some of those TVs can become 3D-capable with just a starter pack and 3D Source device.
"3D TV is the biggest thing to hit the consumer electronics industry in recent memory," Max Wasinger, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Mitsubishi said as part of the announcement.
