An advanced USB platform supports iPod, iPhone, mass storage devices and Kenwood’s Advanced Bus (KAB) connection for satellite radio and HD Radio. The KVT-614 ($900 MSRP, available in March) eXcelon DVD Receiver is designed for applications requiring a single-DIN model. It features a 7-inch touchscreen. The DDX514 ($750 MSRP) is a value-added offering that has already hit the street.
Kenwood also unveiled a new family of DVD receivers with built-in Garmin navigation software, including the flagship DNX9140 ($2,000 MSRP, available in May), which has many of the features found in the DDX814. The line also includes the DNX7140 ($1,700 MSRP, due out next month) and the DNX6140 ($1,250 MSRP, already shipping).
The company also introduced the KDC-HD942U ($300 MSRP, available next month) and the KDC-BT742U ($270 MSRP, shipping), its first in-dash CD receivers with a built-in HD Radio tuner. It also features iTunes tagging and Bluetooth integration.
