Personal audio and high-performance headphone manufacturer Monster has “declared war on the generic earbuds,” the company said in a statement on Tuesday. Saying that consumers deserve better—and launching a subsequent #youdeservebetter social media campaign—the company has released an affordable line of high-performance earbuds and headphones.
Monster said the new line of ClarityHD High-Performance Earbuds offer consumers “better comfort, build, sound, calls, and noise isolation,” as well as better wireless performance for the Bluetooth models. The headphones come in a wired version as well, with both offering Monster’s “signature innovation” in construction.
“The free earbuds you get with phones and portable devices break easily, fail on sound, and are uncomfortable with poor isolation,” Noel Lee, Head Monster, said in a statement. “Whether you prefer the wireless freedom of Bluetooth or wired, ClarityHD gives you step-up quality, step-up sound, step-up build materials and craftsmanship, better isolation, and better comfort with crystal clear calls at an incredible value. We’re giving everyone the opportunity to say goodbye to those generic commodity earbuds forever. The consumer deserves better.”
