Retailers Embrace Social Networks
New research conducted by Vovici Corporation for online retailers show that a veritable Who’s Who of retailers have a Facebook fan page with nearly a third of total responding companies indicating so, the Stratecon Group reports.
Another 27 percent have a space on MySpace and 26 percent are on YouTube. A separate study by Rosetta showed that 59 of the top 100 online retailers maintained a fan page on Facebook showing the growing influence of promoting business through social networking sites.
