Most Best Buy Customers Don’t Know Their HDTV, Survey Says
Despite the success of companies in selling HDTVs and other hi-definition products, nearly 90 percent of customers at the nation’s largest CE retailer lack a complete understanding of how HDTV works. That’s according to an internal survey conducted by Best Buy, as reported by The Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal
The survey polled just over a thousand Best Buy customers over a three-day period in early August.
As a result, Best Buy has launched an education campaign, which like its ad campaign is titled “HD Done Right.” The campaign, both in stores and online, will educate consumers on what to look for when purchasing HD products.
