CES was packed with furniture and rack manufacturers showing off their on-wall, freestanding and iPad/app-oriented products for the consumer and the custom integrator. Here's a sampling of what was displayed on the show floor.
Bell'O brought 20 new products to CES, most of which follow an open design, said Marc Sculler, CEO. As an example, he pointed to the OA351, an A/V console with an espresso finish that can accommodate most TVs up to 52 inches and up to four components. Bell'O also released the 7760 slim wall mount for medium to extra large TVs. Pad locks can be added for extra security. The mount easily tilts and can be positioned away from the wall for cable access and post installation adjustments. A leveling system raises or lowers each side independently to adjust the height or level of the TV.
Also on hand was the Bent Wood A/V furniture that comes in an espresso finish and can accommodate most flat-panel TVs up to 55 inches. At least four components can fit on the glass shelves. The unit features a CMS cable management system and an open architecture for ventilation and convection cooling of components. Two other stand outs were the AVSC2131, which comes in medium espresso finished wood with modern black chrome accents on the sides and the WAVS335 Classic A/V cabinet, which comes in European deep-brown finish that can accommodate most TVs up to 65 inches.
