Service Net founder Lansdon Robbins passed CEO duties for the warranty and service-management company to current president Kevin Callahan. Callahan will provide day-to-day management and leadership, while Robbins will remain involved as Service Net's board chairman, focusing on the company's overall strategic direction.
Russound appointed Jeff Kussard vice president of strategic development. The 28-year custom industry veteran, also a member of CEDIA's board of directors, will be responsible for company strategies related to product development, marketing, and organizational structure, and continues to serve as a member of the Russound & IntelliNet Controls Executive Management Team. Russound also promoted Andrea Renz, formerly with Nicoll Public Relations, NAD and Lexicon, to the new position of assistant director of marketing. She will support all aspects of the company's marketing communications and media relations activities. FInally, Russound company IntelliNet Controls named Bob Timmons sales manager; Timmons previously worked sales for Audioaccess and Harman International. He will work closely with Michael Stein in product development.
CORY Home Delivery Chairman/CEO Joe Cory. Sr., was honored by the Greater New York Home Furnishings Association. The group awarded Cory with the David Druckman Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his oustanding service and involvement with the furniture industry and the community at large.
