Bruce Levy was hired as vice president of real estate for Tweeter Home Entertainment Group. Levy joins Tweeter with over 18 years experience in corporate real estate management. He most recently served as director of global real estate and facilities for Gateway Computers.
Larry Blanford, president and CEO of Philips Consumer Electronics North America, announced the hiring of a new Chief Marketing Officer, Mark Buss, formerly of the Maytag Corporation. Buss's assignments at Maytag have included vice president strategic marketing, vice president merchandising and customer development and vice president and general manager cooking products. Buss replaces Michael Lang, who was appointed general manger of the Audio/Video group. Lang was formerly chief marketing officer for Philips Consumer Electronics. Andy Mintz, who led the Audio Group, is now the general manager of the Magnavox audio/video business.
Wink Communications, Inc., added three industry veterans to its Eastern Region and National sales and distribution teams. Peter Kranzler has been appointed vice president of Eastern ad sales; John Gee is now vice president of sales and strategic account management and Greg Regis assumes the role of vice president of programming sales and account management. Kranzler brings more than 25 years of sales and management experience to Wink. Gee brings nearly two decades of sales management experience in broadcast television, syndication and new media advertising sales to WInk. Regis joins Wink with a wealth of sales and management experience with NBCi, ESPN/ABC and Grey Advertising.
