MQA Joins Entertainment Industry Association DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group
Award-winning music technology company MQA has joined DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group to support the expansion of high-resolution audio as a standard component of consumer entertainment.
DEG is an industry association that "advocates and promotes entertainment platforms, products and distribution channels, on behalf of motion picture, music, consumer electronics and technology companies."
The move by MQA follows a string of recent alignments by the company to spread the reach of its hi-res audio technology. Within the last year, MQA has partnered with NAD Electronics to bring their streaming tech to NAD's BluOS products; signed into a licensing agreement with the Warner Music Group to enable WMG's artists' recordings to be made available in studio master quality through MQA's distributors; and worked with Bluesound to bring their streaming technology to all of the wireless audio manufacturer's products. Even more partnerships were recently announced during the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest just a few weeks ago.
