MTI-Andrews to Handle Analog Repairs For Philips
MTI-Andrews announced this week that it has reached an agreement to become exclusive distributor for parts and components for the repair facilities for analog TVs produced by Philips Electronics North America. MTI-Andrews has replaced IBM in the role of distributor for the components, the company said.
“Phillips’ decision to select MTI-Andrews as its exclusive provider is a reflection of the confidence they have in our performance and execution,” MTi-Andrews COO Chris Remy said in a statement issued by the company.
The company was formed by the merger of MTI and Andrews Electronics in September; Remy was named COO shortly thereafter.
