Napster Set For Another Reboot
The once-dominant music-downloading service Napster, which has gone through numerous incarnations since its 1990s heyday, was purchased by Best Buy last year, and the company announced another new Napster model this week.
Under the newest scheme, users can pay $5 per month for unlimited access to streaming music, as well as five unrestricted music downloads. Customers can pay more for additional downloads. A subscriptions also gives users access to 60 commercial-free radio stations and 1,400 pre-programmed playlists.
