During a whirlwind of trade show activities, dealer meetings, education, and networking at the PrimeTime convention last month, Nationwide Marketing Group (NMG) took a step back from the chaos to perform an act of good.
In delivering on their commitment to give back, Nationwide and No Child Hungry organized a meal packing effort to benefit hungry children in the United States and abroad. Dealers, vendors and members of the NMG team alike came together at the Las Vegas show to create over 180,000 meals for children in need. Hundreds of attendees worked to crush a goal of 60,000 meals in 60 minutes. The total for the time frame ended up being 87,000 packed meals for hungry kids.
Last year, a few NMG leaders, including NMG President Tom Hickman, hand-delivered the packaged meals to their final destination in Haiti. Final totals for this year's meal packing event were close on the heels of those 2018 numbers.
