Nationwide Says Business Is Booming
LAS VEGAS – After a brutal first quarter due to miserable weather in the Northeast and West Coast port issues, Nationwide Marketing Group had a great second quarter and is in fact bullish on the coming months and years, the group said.
The cheery news was dispensed at Nationwide’s PrimeTime! Event here, which according to the group drew 3,900 attendees, 1,200 member companies, 175+ vendor companies and 185,000 square feet of show floor, said Nationwide CEO Dave Bilas.
“Business is booming,” said COO Jeff Knock. “We made it through the first quarter. The second quarter has been unbelievable for us. The consumer is rebounding. We feel like the programs that we’ve put into place for our members to go out and grow share in their local markets are working. We are trending as a channel to have a great growth year this year.”
