Netatmo Adds an Unexpected Layer of Wellness to the Connected Home
The IoT market is packed with a lot of familiar faces. Lights are turning off at a certain hour, thermostats lowering at night, doors locking behind you - but not many occupy the same space Netatmo does.
At this year's CE Week in New York, the France-based company showcased a few of their flagship items, adding a few improvements that focus primarily on improving the quality of life in your home, both physically and mentally.
Their first item, the Weather Station, will analyze a handful of metrics both outdoors, and, more impressively, indoors. Temperature, humidity, air quality, CO2, and sound are all tracked in an app and alert the owner to be proactive in doing things like airing out their home.
