New Age Electronics will Begin Selling Razer Connected Devices and Gaming Software
New Age Electronics, a distributor of consumer electronics and gaming products, will begin carrying connected devices and gaming software produced by Razer. The two companies announced the agreement in a statement on Thursday, and said that it will cover a range of Razer products for PC and console gaming, including its Blade gaming laptops, wearable devices, and peripherals such as mice, keyboards, headphones, and controllers, as well as gear like bags and cases.
New Age Electronics said the move to bring in Razer products is key after data from Newzoo’s “2015 Global Games Market Report” found that the market for computer screen gaming (both PC and Mac) will grow to $33.7 billion this year, which represents 37 percent of the total global games market. That same report also cites that the total games market will rise to $91.5 billion this year, up from $83.6 billion, and a nearly 10 percent increase.
