HAIER SHOWS OFF PRODUCTS AND HEADQUARTERS
Haier America recently took advantage of its centrally located, architecturally significant Manhattan headquarters on Broadway to display its latest products and prototypes from eight of its business units at the first-ever Haier Product Showcase.
“We wanted, after eight years here, to tell the Haier story by exposing the general populace to everything we do,” Richard Block, the company’s vice president of marketing, said as he stood in the in the classical-design building, which is the former home of the Greenwich Bank.
Haier executives invited dealers, architects and the public to the two-day event as a way to preview the products that will be featured at this year’s major trade shows. Haier publicized the show through The New York Times, AM New York and New York Magazine, along with e-mail blasts to customers and the general trade.
