New Families Join Panasonic Living in HD Program
Panasonic announced this week that it has named ten more families as part of its “Living in High Definition” program. The families will all receive a suite of Panasonic products, including a plasma HDTV, a home theater, a camcorder, digital cameras, a laptop computer and a Blu-ray Disc player.
The families were chosen for the program after submitting creative answers a question posed by Panasonic as to what they would do with the suite. The question, for answer by families hoping to be included in the next block of families, is “What Type of Public Service Announcement Would Your Family Create?”
Panasonic launched the Living in HD program in August, as an effort to “deepen our understanding of the American consumer, so we can get actionable insights into the emerging digital lifestyle,” brand marketing vice president Bob Greenberg told Dealerscope and CustomRetailer at the time. The program began with 50 families, with the goal of expanding to 100 by 2009.
