Other features include calendar, contacts, word processor, spreadsheets, presentation viewer and built-in software from Lotus and Microsoft. Its screen, designed to view photos and streaming video, captures 4,096 standard colors. Additional applications are also available via CD-ROM, which installs games, and a Flash player.

2. Danger HipTop mobile service device. Now available, the 5-oz. wireless convergence device delivers voice, Internet and multi-media features in a combination of phone, HTML-based Web browser, e-mail, instant messenger and digital camera. Its fold-away video screen and miniature keyboard perform laptop jobs in palm size. The device runs on a Global System for Mobile (GSM) communications network, but also runs on General Packet Radio Service (GPRS). The company agrees to allow wireless carriers to brand the handhelds.
