NJ Electronics Recycling Law on the Way
A New Jersey state law passed two years ago that bans disposing of electronics as solid waste is set to go into effect on the first of the year.
According to the Bergen County Record the new law applies to consumers, manufacturers and retailers, and applies to computers and TVs larger than four inches. All are encouraged to recycle the materials as well.
New Jersey became the 24th state to pass an e-recycling law.
