Newegg.com has partnered with LivePerson, Inc. to enhance the e-tailer’s customer service via LivePerson’s Timpani Contact Center platform. The system combines live chat, e-mail and self-service knowledgebase functionality. 85 percent of survey respondents to the initial implementation of the platform rate it as satisfactory or very satisfactory. The 15 hour a day service will soon be extended to 24/7.
