NHT, a speaker manufacturer based in Benicia, Calif., plans to ship a new small footprint speaker system next month, specifically designed to complement high-definition flat-panel displays.
Called Verve, the system features two satellites and one subwoofer, which can be sold in a variety of configurations. NHT designed Verve to be sold as a full system, rather than as individual components, to ensure a simple set-up and optimal sound.
Made of bulk molding compound, the Verve satellites come in two sizes: 10.5” x 5.5” x 6.25” and 15.5” x 5.5” x 6.25”. They feature an acoustic suspension, three-way design; a coaxial driver containing a 3/4” tweeter and a 3” midrange drive unit, supported by a single 4” woofer in the small satellite and dual 4” woofers in the large satellite.
