Numbers Improve For DTV Transition Readiness
The percentage of U.S. households who remain unready for February's analog signal shutoff has declined, according to numbers released this week by the Nielsen Co.
According to Adweek, which is a sister company of Nielsen, the percentage of "completely unready" households dropped from 8.4 percent to 7.7 percent between September and October. Meanwhile, "partially unready" households dropped too, from 11 to 10.7 percent.
The completely- and partially-unready numbers stood at 9.8 and 11.9 percent in May, Nielsen said.
