Nikon will be exhibiting at the upcoming PhotoPlus Expo 2015, which runs October 22-24 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. In a statement, the company said it plans to showcase the “latest imaging products and provide insight into the world of photography from some of the most gifted Nikon photographers” from the Nikon School Theater. The company also plans to introduce its new Macro & Portrait 2 Lens Kit for DSLR shooters.
Nikon said its entire product line will be on display at the event, including its DX-Format D7200 and its newest NIKKOR lenses. The booth will also feature a “candy fantasy land” display, a three-day project from Lauri Ditunno, owner of NYC-based cake studio Cake Alchemy. Throughout the show, Ditunno and a few members of her team will create a fantasy land built entirely from cake and candy, which Nikon said will provide booth visitors with a “fun and dynamic” shooting scenario for trying out the company’s latest products.
Also at the booth, the Nikon School Theater will host educational sessions hosted by a number of Nikon professional photographers. There, they will detail their experiences and techniques for shooting photos and HD video. The lineup includes Nikon Ambassadors Joe McNally, Tamara Lackey and Cliff Mautner will participate in an informative panel discussion co-sponsored by Photo District News.
