Nintendo is getting ready to cut the price of the Wii console to $150, beginning in mid-May, according to an Engadget report this week.
According to the Engadget report, which cited "a trusted source," the change will take place May 15.
The Wii's price was last cut in the U.S. in September of 2009, when it was brought down to its current price of $199.99.
