The "Experience Nintendo Tour" is a nationwide media tour to select markets via Nintendo's tricked-out Nintendo Airstream trailer filled with Wii home consoles and Nintendo DSi XL portable systems. The tour is currently in full swing across the country with stops in Seattle, Columbus, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, etc., and with the holiday season right around the corner, it's the perfect time for Nintendo to announce some of of the cool games it will have available in the coming months for both its Wii home console and portable Nintendo DS systems. I had the opportunity to demo some of the hottest Wii game titles coming out just in time for the upcoming holiday season, such as Kirby's Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns and Wii Party to name a few. Allow me to be the first to tell you, you will certainly not be disappointed.
"Everyone wants fun, engaging experiences, and they want great value," said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. "Nintendo games give you both. And no matter what your taste, you'll find exclusive experiences that just aren't available anywhere else."
Some upcoming Wii games include Wii Party on Oct. 3, Kirby's Epic Yarn on Oct. 17, FlingSmash on Nov. 7 and Donkey Kong Country Returns on Nov. 21. For the Nintendo DS family of systems, upcoming games include Art Academy on Oct. 25 and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! on Nov. 14.
