Nintendo: No Price Cut For Wii
Nintendo’s president told a group of analysts Friday that the company has no plans to cut prices for the Nintendo Wii or Nintendo DS devices this year, Reuters reported.
Satoru Iwata said in the meeting that the company’s revenue projections for the year do not include price cuts, and that “I don’t think we’ll need them.” The comments came just a day after Nintendo announced robust earnings, which included doubled profit and a forecast of a nine percent gain this year.
