CNBC To Preview CES Wednesday Night
The cable network CNBC Wednesday night will air the first of four segments previewing January’s International CES in Las Vegas. As part of NBC’s Universal’s unprecedented television coverage of the event, the weekly program “The Big Idea With Donny Deutsch” will host two major industry figures on Wednesday’s show.
Monster Cable Head Monster Noel Lee and Thiel Loudspeakers President Kathy Gornik will join Deutsch as his guests Wednesday night, in a show set to air at 10 p.m. Eastern on CNBC, with a replay to follow at 1 a.m. The executives, as well as others featured in future segments, will discuss how their business has benefited from appearing at CES in the past.
The segment series is called the Road to CES, and represents a preview of the “dozens of hours” of live coverage from the event that NBC announced last month would take place across its family of networks. Both Al Roker of the “Today” show and Maria Bartiromo of CNBC are scheduled to broadcast live from the event in Las Vegas, among other NBC personalities.
