Nokia Calls Off X7 Launch in U.S.
Nokia has canceled plans to launch a new smartphone in the U.S. through AT&T, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.
The phone, known as the X7, was to be introduced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It will still launch in other markets.
According to the Journal Nokia, which has lagged behind its rivals in the U.S. smartphone market, decided not to launch the X7 in the U.S. because of worries that AT&T would not put marketing muscle behind it.
