The success of the Apple brand is driving a great deal of interest in the iPad, and owners of other Apple products are nearly 40 percent more likely to be interested in the device than those who are not.
That's according to a survey released Friday by the NPD Group, called "Apple iPad:Consumers’ Perceptions and Attitudes."
NPD found that 18 percent of consumers "expressed a real interest in buying an iPad," a number that rose to 27 percent among 18-34-year-olds and 24 percent of Apple owners.
