Odyssey Toys Brings on Kevin Corson of Marketing Engineers to Develop Technology for Next Generation of Drones
Odyssey Toys, the leading toy drone manufacturer, today signed a deal with Kevin Corson, founder and CEO of Marketing Engineers, to create an application programmer interface (API) for their future product line of drones and quadcopters. This unified platform will foster a community between the Odyssey Toys products and open up participation from the development community.
Kevin Corson, inventor of the Internet telephone, is a highly regarded inventor and successful marketing engineer who continues to provide his services to a number of fortune 500 companies and promising start-ups. He was instrumental in creating and introducing the world's first digital sound card and voice recognition products, including (Covox/Creative Labs) Sound Master/Sound Blaster and (Sonic Foundry/Sony) Sound Forge, to consumers worldwide. Corson also serves as Chairman of the Involve Audio Advisory Board (IAAB).
“Our team has done this for many companies in the past; we brought sound to computers and unified the gaming industry. We’ve also created APIs for bio-metrics and database companies that helped fuse and expand those markets,” said Corson. “Our goal with Odyssey Toys is to give their users the ability to create, enhance and modify their Odyssey toy. This will enhance the user experience and also create a community where users can share their programs and ideas with other Odyssey toy owners worldwide.”
