Rex Stores To Leave Retail
Ohio-based Rex Stores Corp. said Wednesday that it will leave the retail electronics business later this year, Dayton Business Journal reported. The move came as the company reported a loss of $5.4 million in the recently completed quarter.
The company, which also invests in alternate energy, operates 105 stores in 32 states. Rex agreed last year to lease 32 of its stores to Appliance Direct Inc.
