Onkyo on Monday introduced a pair of new A/V receivers that fit on the affordable end of the home theater market. The TX-SR576 and TX-SR506 are both scheduled to arrive in April, at suggested retail prices of $479 and $379, respectively.
Both receivers feature three HDMI inputs, as well as the company’s Music Optimizer software. Both also are compatible with Blu-ray Disc players, HD boxes, gaming consoles, and numerous other hardware devices.
The major different between the two is that SR576 features 80 watts per channel, while the SR506 boasts 75, while both include the Audyssey Dynamic EQ algorithm. Both are available with either black or silver finishes.
