Online Holiday Shopping Jumps
Domestic online spending for the holidays has risen 15 percent to over the $30 billion mark, according to numbers released Sunday by research firm Comscore.
The numbers, from Nov. 1 to Dec. 16, are an improvement over 2010's figure of $26.9 billion. Meanwhile, total sales last Friday, which was designated Free Shipping Day, were over $1 billion, up from $942 million last year.
Comscore did not separate its results by product category.
