Optoma has launched the NuForce BE Free5 earbuds, billed as using the analysis of more than 1,000 ears to create the most comfortable-fitting and secure design possible.
The wireless earbuds carry a four-hour battery life while boasting an extra twelve hours of use with its portable charging case. The case, which contains fast charge capabilities, can extend the earbuds use for a full hour of playback on a fifteen minute charge.
The intense research the product underwent on design and fit is refreshing as our biggest concern after reviewing this model’s predecessor—the NuForce BE Free8—in an edition of UNBOXED was the lack of comfort after long-term use. The actual earbud tips themselves are equipped with 360-degree SpinFit technology allowing them to rotate into a comfortable resting position. This feature also makes this model a great contender for use during exercise.
The NuForce BE Free5 earbuds are sweatproof as well as water and weather resistant. Each earbud contains buttons, which can be used as a way to control volume, prompt Siri or Google Assistant, and control music or calls.
Utilizing 6mm drivers producing quality sound and bass, the earbuds are Bluetooth compatible with both Apple and Android devices.
“We are focused on disrupting the market with premium wireless and true wireless earphones at incredible prices,” Jyri Jokirinta, senior manager of NuForce audio at Optoma Technology, said. “The Optoma NuForce BE Free5 earbuds combine premium quality sound from the most advanced technologies on the market today and are available at an unmatched price for our customers.”
With a renewed focus on comfort, price and design, Optoma’s latest release seems to check every box. Addressing some of the major concerns of its predecessor makes this earbud a formidable product in the wireless earbud space, and so naturally we can’t wait to get our hands (or ears) on a pair.
The NuForce BE Free5 earbuds are priced at $99 and are currently available through the Optoma website and on Amazon.
