Outdoor cooking is not about slapping a hot dog or a burger on a grill anymore. It's also about sauteing, frying, stewing, and not just meat but fish, tofu, vegetables—you name it. Consequently, more is expected of outdoor grills. No, they don't have an integrated Internet browser (yet), but grills aren't just grills anymore. Grill manufacturers now pay more attention—than they have in the past—to the even heat distribution, easy cleanup and reduction of the flare-up from juices and grease drips.
