Not even close to everyone has purchased a 4K Ultra HD TV. But more than 9 out of 10 consumers who have seen the technology find it "extremely or somewhat impressive."
That's according to Strategy Analytics' ConsumerMetrix survey, which found that 93 percent of consumers who have seen 4K technology checked off that they found it either "somewhat" or "extremely" impressed. The survey also found that 57 percent of those asked are "aware" of the term Ultra HD, as opposed to just 39 percent in January.
"These are extremely high ratings for any new technology," David Mercer, Principal Analyst and the report's author, said as part of the announcement. "The fact that nearly everyone who has seen an Ultra HD TV is impressed is very encouraging for TV manufacturers and retailers and bodes well for a strong end to the 2014 holiday season."
