OwnerIQ Aims to Pave Path to Purchase
Or if a retailer wants to advertise to consumers who have been to the vendor’s site, the cookie can trigger an ad from that retailer but featuring Vendor A’s product.
Owner IQ’s solution is designed to offer independent retailers who are struggling to increase in-store and online traffic a new piece to their digital strategy.
“Many times, we talk to a dealer and they’ll say they don’t have a website they’re comfortable with, or they’ll say their focus is on getting their website built correctly,” Scaglione said. “We’re saying, we can help you through that by offering the ability to advertise against your manufacturer’s audience, even if your website is not where you want it to be yet.”
To help drive traffic, for example, retailers could serve coupons that consumers have to carry into the stores for things like free installation or product discounts.
Scaglione noted that manufacturers earmark only one percent of their co-op funds for digital media. OwnerIQ’s use of measurement tools for its targeted marketing strategies would let manufacturers see the success of the campaigns in the retail channel, which could result in more co-op dollars spent on digital.
