Palm Unveils Treo Pro
The battle has been joined in the enterprise smart phone sector, as Palm has risen up to challenge Research in Motion’s BlackBerry line, as well as the iPhone 3G.
Palm on Wednesday introduced the Palm Treo Pro, a WiFi-enabled, Windows Mobile 6.1-based smart phone aimed at business users. In a twist, according to Reuters, the phone will be released in the U.S. without an agreement with a carrier. The phone is set to be released, unlocked, with a $549 price tag.
The Treo Pro is set to arrive in the U.S. this fall.
