Panasonic on Monday formally announced the new Panasonic LUMIX G7, a new camera featuring Panasonic's 4K Photo technology.
Sporting a new version of the Venus engine, 16.00M Digital Live MOS Sensor and built on the Micro Four Thirds lens standard, the product is geared towards "step-up users in their 30s and 40s," Shigeo Sakaue, Supervisor, Consumer Planning Team, Merchandising Group, said at a briefing at Panasonic's Newark headquarters Thursday.
The 4K Photo feature, part of what Panasonic calls New Hybrid photography, "taps the high resolution of 4K Ultra HD video to improve the speed of photo capture," Panasonic said in the announcement.
