Panasonic Debuts Wearable Action Cam
Panasonic earlier this week unveiled the HX-A1, described as a wearable, compact POV action camcorder. The product is both light-weight and rugged, and can shoot in total darkness.
The company showed the HX-A1 at the CES on the Hill event in Washington Wednesday, along with what the company calls its camera-to-screen 4K-Ultra-High Definition ecosystem, which includes TVs, cameras, projectors and more. In the words of Peter Fannon, Panasonic’s US VP of Technology, the ecosystem is meant to show that "4K isn't just for the pros anymore."
This also includes a Home Monitoring System which, the company is emphasizing, does not require any fees beyond the initial purchase of the system.
